Tanning has come a long way in the past 30 years. In the beginning of the trend, there was one level. Today, tanners can choose from a variety of levels in which to tan. Tanning bed levels are the amount of pressure and UV rays that the bulbs in the bed or stand-up unit produce.
Level One
Beds & Standups
State of the Art Tanning perfect for those tanners who are cost conscious and are able to gradually build and maintain their tan. Our Level One units have a maximum exposure time of 10 & 15 minutes and are perfect for the tanner who wants to “escape” and enjoy a break while slipping away in a tropical slumber. Most clients find that they achieve a base tan in approximately 6-8 visits and can maintain a their tan with 3-4 visits per week.
Level Two
Beds & Standups
Upscaled State of the Art Tanning for the tanner seeking an experience that is “a cut above”. Our Level Two units have a maximum exposure time of 9-10 minutes. Most clients will be able to achieve a base tan in approximately 4-6 visits and can maintain their tan with 2-4 visits per week at this level. This is a great value level for those who are cost conscious but want to speed up their tanning process.
Level Three
Beds
State of the Art Tanning for those who want to take a mind clearing moment and just "let everything go" while pampering their tan. Our Level Three units have a maximum exposure time of 12 minutes. This level is perfect for tanners who want a deep luxurious tan and a refreshing power nap. Great for building a build a good base tan quickly or maintaining a deep, dark fabulous color, with minimal exposure.
Level Four
Beds
Luxury and State of the Art Tanning at its best. Our Level Four units have a maximum exposure time of 10 minutes. This level is perfect for tanners who want a deep luxurious tan fast. It is perfect for those tanners who want to build a good base tan as quickly as possible, those who want to deepen and darken the base tan they already have, and those who want maintain the tan they have with the fewest visits to the salon. This is because the specially designed lamps produce UVA and UVB in different ratios compared to conventional tanning units. These lamps use just a small amount of UVB to stimulate the melanin production required to tan the skin and a much higher amount of UVA to really oxidize that melanin and turn it a golden brown. The lower UVB output of this high-pressure bed means that result is a richer, darker, and longer-lasting tan.
